‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
This Thursday, coinciding with the 102nd anniversary of Valencia CF's founding, a new act to help those in need took place at Mestalla. Valencia CF, the VCF Footballers Association and the Banco de Alimentos distributed essential foodstuffs and typical Fallas products such as horchata and fartons to more than 200 families, as well as providing more than 200 official VCF Fallas handkerchiefs. The event was supported by Fartons Polo, Abanicos Folgado and Sagarmanta.
The club's social ambassadors, Ricardo Arias, Miguel Ángel Bossio and Miguel Tendillo, had the help of illustrious representatives of the VCF Footballers Association on this occasion: Fernando Giner, Vicente Guillot, Darío Felman, Luis Pascual, Emilio Fenoll and Miroslav Djukic all participated as volunteers.

In addition to distributing basic foods, the Banco de Alimentos food bank also gave each family a bag of oranges and, for the children, firecrackers filled with sweets and Fallas gifts.
After nine months of distributing food to those most in need, Mestalla is not only the scene of big matches. It is now also synonymous with solidarity and social commitment.
